Whoson15.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:M:MUBBS:Whoson15.cpt 1.5 0 39K 4/09/93 Whoson15 - This is a helpful MUBBS module if you have more than one line, so another caller can see if someone else is on to chat with, or when one comes out, someone to play a multi-user game with..To install - just copy into the modules file with res-edit. It should be called 'WhosOn' To use, simple edit your 'maincaller.info' file in the caller folder, and add the module name somewhere before the 'menu1' module name. It creates no files, and only requires a file called "WhosOn.info"to be in your "bbssupport" folder.
UUCP 3.0.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:U-V:UUCP 3.0.cpt 3.0 0 140K 4/09/93 UUCP 3.0 - UUCP is a program which allows your Macintosh to communicate using the "uucp" (Unix-to-Unix Copy Program) protocols, and to exchange files and electronic mail with other uucp sites. For instance, are you home longer on the weekends than the weekdays and would like your users to be able to page you for a longer time span? Well, here's where PageMan comes in! Just set it to have different page times for each day and pop it in your NMH event, or make a seperate even to run at midnight! It's so simple it's incredible, yet it's something that SS lacks!
FlagMan! v1.0.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:D-F:FlagMan! v1.0.cpt 0 8K 3/26/93 FlagMan! - is a small Second Sight/RRH utility that will allow sysops to define SYSTEMx.MSGs as “read once Per-Day”! This is very useful if you have a daily bulletin that you would rather have users see only once per day, but because of the SS/RRH limitation, your users are forced to look at the same daily bulletin every time they call. But, now, with FlagMan!, you no longer have this restriction! Version 1.0.

The following letters contain some information (mostly depressing) about getting an internet connection and also other info about various new online services (the next best thing). This collection is rather long (1400+ lines) and therefore belongs in the report directory.

Death to NCSA!.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:D-F:Death to NCSA!.cpt 0 8K 3/26/93 Death to NCSA! - Why use this program? If you're a network administrator who sets up NCSA Telnet, you probably spend a lot of time deleting the NCSA Telnet Settings file from the System Folder because sometimes it causes problems and it's best just to let NCSA recreate it automatically. Rather than having to delete it each time by opening the system folder and dragging it to the trash, I wrote this quick hack which deletes the file.

If you do not have an older 2.x version you will need to download a complete package with all the support files. Fixes and Improvements to 2.2(b). Fixed a problem that would not let non-CP related F1-PREF's from passing through as CP re-built the Formula Pref file (when using the F1 mailer option). Added Control key modifier to a reply. If you hold down the Control Key (on extended keyboards) you will force a normal area message reply to EMAIL and extract the node address from the origin line (as long as the include seenby option is turned off).
BBB2.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:B:BBB2.cpt 2 0 107K 3/26/93 BBB2 - This update was created using SuperGlue II, and in order to view it, you will need the SuperViewer Classic application. Since this was included with the first update (BBB1), it is not included in this package in order to save space. If you don't have a copy of the viewer, just download the first update, and you'll be all set. Unlike the first update, this update is only being done in one format. Many thanks to those of you that wrote in, expressing your preference of viewers. SuperGlue II won the vote by roughly a 2 to 1 margin, so that is what I have chosen for this update.

AT&T CCL.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:A:AT&T CCL.cpt 0 4K 3/26/93 AT&T CCL - The CCL AT&T Paradyne Comsphere 3810 is a hack from the Hayes SmartModem 2400 so part's of it may be copyright by whoever wrote the original script. It makes no use of some of the more powerful features of this modem but apparently ARA does it's own data compression etc, so that it shouldn't require these. The CCL has only been tested at 14.4kb and 2400 using an internal modem in a powerbook (PowerPort Gold) and a DoveFax modem, but it should work at other speedMost CCL's are written by the company that makes the modem, but we needed this one quickly (for ARA using our Shiva LAN Rover E). Hence this has no warranty and is not approved by AT&T. (But it should work anyway!).

Tune.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:Tune.cpt 0 8K 2/16/93 Tune - Only ANSI users will be able to use this. It is mainly to demo to show how ANSI Screen positioning can make even externals have a nice Macintosh Style Graphic Interface. It does work of course, and you can take those Temp conversions to the bank! I dunno if you'll ever need to convert Temp's in Hermes but what the hell - it's a nice external.

Remote Security.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:Remote Security.cpt 0 9K 2/16/93 Remote Security - Remote Security is basically like the Local Security External that comes with Hermes. But Remote Security has two important differnces. 1) You can operate it Remotely! 2) You can change the SL's Globaly. That is, you can change ALL the SL's between 1 and 254 to whatever you want with just entering the info once!
Remote Options.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:Remote Options.cpt 0 11K 2/16/93 Remote Options - ANSI Screen positioning now implemented. Bug that wouldn't let you unlock your copy has been fixed. Main Menu Command is now working. You can only allow User #1 for a higher level of security. SysOp Availablity times can be printed to the screen. Post and U/L Compensation now do not have to be integers. Pretty Colors added.
Remote GFiles v1.0.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:Remote GFiles v1.0.cpt 0 10K 2/16/93 Remote GFiles v1.0 - Advantages over the Build-In GFile section editor. Can be operated remotely, thus by Co-SysOp's. When renaming a section the actual folder of the section will be renamed as well. (The Built in editor just makes a new folder and YOU have to move all the contents)Lets you delete or rename actual GFiles. DirEdit users have an interesting advantage with Remote GFiles. With both DirEdit and Remote GFiles a co or full SysOp can REMOTELY create a new GFile section, AND fill it up with any Text File(s) you have.
Quoter FKEY 1.3.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Q:Quoter FKEY 1.3.cpt 1.3 0 25K 2/16/93 Quoter FKEY 1.3 - The Quoter FKEY was written as a direct result of a need on a local Mac™ BBS, Just Another Board (JAB). My Quoter FKEY can be used on any BBS or elsewhere, when replying to other people’s messages, so that people reading your reply can see what specifically you are replying to. Quoting on a BBS is normally done by prefixing each line of text by a “> ” sequence, e.g.> This is a quote. Since words can wrap differently when quoted, doing this manually for quotes other than very short ones is a real pain. With my Quoter FKEY, you can concentrate on the message, not the hassle of quoting it — the FKEY does all the work for you.
Peephole203.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:P:Peephole203.cpt 2.03 0 53K 2/16/93 Peephole203 - Peephole version 2.0.3 - This update is a quick & dirty modification to allow for modifications made to the way data is formatted in the Callerlog of Second Sight version 2.2b38 and following. To use this application, drag it into the same folder as your Second Sight application and Callerlog. IF you keep your Callerlog in another location, it may not (probably won't) work. I'll try to look at that in a few days. Anyway, once in place, just add a command 50/51 call to it from any Second Sight menu.
News Editor v1.1.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:News Editor v1.1.cpt 1.1 0 13K 2/16/93 News Editor v1.1 - "News" is an external designed to let Hermes SysOp's create and edit up to ten "System News Messages." The basic concept behind News is toforce users to read important news, but spare them the constant displaying of the message over and over again. This is achieved by several features of this external. First, for users with ANSI, messages are displayed in a bright attention getting ANSI style. Second, messages may NOT be aborted with a tap of the [SPACE] bar. And finally, after a user has read a certain new message it is recorded and he is not shown it again.

Modem-Summary.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:M:Modem-Summary.cpt 0 23K 2/16/93 Modem-Summary - Gathered from sources on the Internet. This document discusses various 14.4K (and higher) modems. Many users were able to personally compare most of the modems side by side. At any rate, it is MUST reading before you buy a high-speed modem. As most of the "reviewers" lean heavily toward the Zyxel modems, I've included some detailed specs on these as well.
Hangman v1.0.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:Hangman v1.0.cpt 1.0 0 30K 2/16/93 Hangman v1.0 - Hangman v1.0 is a powerful hangman game with both an ANSI and a ASCII interface. It has a vocbulary of 4,400 words ranging from four to nine letters long. The SysOp external uses the SOSER method for setting it's restriction.
Garld.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:Garld.cpt 0 33K 2/16/93 Garld - Just quit Hermes, drop Garld v1.1 in the External Folder, and re-start Hermes. Special Thanks to Greg Oberfield and Dave Mckee for their Help with Pascal. That's about it! Enjoy...Sam Shafritz
Freddie 1.2.5.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:D-F:Freddie 1.2.5.cpt 1.2.5 0 335K 2/16/93 Freddie 1.2.5 - Freddie lets users download their mail in a "packet" from BBS's that offer a QWK door. Using Freddie, users can read and respond to their mail offline at their leisure, and then send those replies back to the BBS in another packet. Freddie offers a variety of convenient features, such as full indexing of every conference, sorting by four fields (including subject, which simulates threading), searching for a string, and more. Best of all, Freddie is a true Mac application. Freddie 1.2.5 is a major improvement over previous versions, allowing for automatic decompression of QWK packets under System 7.x using ZipIt, the shareware zip/unzip utility.

E-Mail Refused.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:E-Mail Refused.cpt 0 11K 2/16/93 E-Mail Refused - E-Mail Resufed is a Hermes extension that allows users to choose up to ten different users who they do not want to receive E-Mail from. Refusing E-Mail means when a user, who is not allowed to E-Mail you, trys to, he is given a message and send back to whatever he was doing. One can edit what this messgae says and the color it is displayed in. Here is the most common example of someone being denied access to E-Mail another user.
Disconnect v1.0.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:Disconnect v1.0.cpt 1.0 0 3K 2/16/93 Disconnect v1.0 - Got a question for you! Could you write an external that would allow users to log off from the Externals Menu instead of having to quit to the main menu and then log off? If you could, I'm sure that there are a lot of people that could use it. That letter just about says it all. To install it just drop it in your externals folder and relaunch Hermes.
DirEdit v1.0.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:DirEdit v1.0.cpt 1.0 0 20K 2/16/93 DirEdit v1.0 - ADVANTAGES OF DIREDIT vs. THE BUILT-IN HERMES BOARD EDIT One can edit/create/delete transfer directories remotely. One can edit/create/delete transfer directories without slowing down the rest of the board. Co-SysOp's edit/create/delete transfer directories if you want them to be able to do so.
Cuatro v1.0.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:Cuatro v1.0.cpt 1.0 0 16K 2/16/93 Cuatro v1.0 - Some SysOp's with keen powers of observation may have noticed a striking resemblence between Cuatro and Colen Garoutte-Carson's Chess and Checkers. I did this for standardizational purposes. Colen Garoutte-Carson set the standard with Chess and Checkers and I think it is important to stick with the format for all board game type externals. I do not have the source code to Chess or Checkers. Imitation is the sincerest form of flatery Colen Garoutte-Carson. For Hermes BBS.
Change STR# v1.2.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:Change STR# v1.2.cpt 1.2 0 9K 2/16/93 Change STR# v1.2 - Change STR# is an external for Hermes that will allow you to edit the STR# resource's "HrmSTR1" and "HrmSTR2" found in the resource fork of the application Hermes, without using ResEdit. Contained in these resources are various string relating to Hermes. Because ResEdit is not needed to edit these resources with Change STR# it allowes you to make changes WITHOUT having to quit Hermes and take down your board.

ANSI Doodle v1.0.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Hermes:ANSI Doodle v1.0.cpt 1.0 0 33K 2/16/93 ANSI Doodle v1.0 - ANSI Doodle is by no means meant to be a comparable ANSI Screen editor to such programs as ANSI Mouse or TheDraw. Just about the only thing its got going for itself is that fact that it's an external for Hermes. There are some major problems with the effiency of ANSI Doodle. Nevertheless, the important thing to keep in mind is that it was created as a "fun" external.

MCS 1.1.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:M:MCS 1.1.cpt 1.1 0 12K 2/05/93 MCS 1.1 - MCS was developed to satisfy an in–house communication need at Mainstay. They frequently need to transfer files to and from Europe quickly, reliably and in a cost–effective manner. File transfers to and from Europe are made via a satellite link which has a high noise level, long return time and high cost. Xmodem file transfers are not effective because of these problems. MCS uses X.MS, a Mainstay proprietary protocol, which is similar to the CCITT X.25 protocol. This eliminates any noise and the problem of the long return time.

At first, this may seem strange, but if you have one of those high speed modems that has trouble with long distance, or you have two node numbers, or you want to have different modem init strings, or whatever, then you need F1Man! By simply running F1Man! before and after Formula1 in the Tabby Event string you can change Formula1 Prefs on the fly! Later... --Mike Marshburn, President of Delphic Software.

I FINALLY got the header files for Hermes 2.0. I'll be writing MORE externals now, for the next two weeks, but I'm under time pressure. I'm back to school and a extremely serious course load in Electrical Engineering by the last week of August (1992, in the odd chance this lasts longer than that...), so I'll be pretty much tied up for awhile.

This utility allows you to edit your download queue listing -- shift items up or down, delete them (great for clearing the completed downloads list -- just Select All and Delete), put items on hold (move them so a FlashSession won't get them, then move 'em back when you want FS to grab them), rename local filenames or change file types and creators for partial or completed downloads, and more.

Acronym.CPT TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:A:Acronym.CPT 0 32K 9/04/92 Acronym - Acronym 1.00, external for Second Sight, Red Ryder Host, WWIV, and Mansion bulletin board systems. A search engine for looking up acronyms. VERY fast lookup via a binary search tree, and allows you to add new acronyms if they aren't found. Adding is SLOW, as the entire dictionary file needs to be sorted after adding an entry, but if there is enough demand for a faster add, I will work on an increased throughput. System 7 Compatible.
QWK.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Q:QWK.cpt 1.26 0 62K 8/22/92 QWK - QWK 1.26, a simple QWK-format offline mail reader package for the Macintosh. With the this software, you can extract and read messages offline, then collect all your replies into a .REP packet and upload the .REP packet to the BBS. This package, plus an unZIP utility, a text editor and a terminal program are all you need to take advantage of any QWK mail doors that might be offered by any BBSes that you call.
AOL Aid 1.2.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:A:AOL Aid 1.2.cpt 1.2 0 6K 7/28/92 AOL Aid 1.2 - AOL Aid is a little INIT that allows you to do other things on America Online while you are downloading/uploading files. America Online has always had the capability to download/upload in the background, but it forces you to do nothing else while you are downloading files anyway. To get around this, many people have been using a "Send Behind FKEY" or the like which sends the File Transfer window behind all the other windows on the screen so you can do other things such as browse messages, etc.

Darwin 1.1.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:D-F:Darwin 1.1.cpt 1.1 0 13K 7/28/92 Darwin 1.1 - Darwin is a Tabby event-compatible utility that lets you have multiple origin lines for each Fidonet echo that you read. Each echo has it's own independent set of origin lines. Darwin randomly selects a different origin line for each message of each echo for which Darwin is configured. If you want to use the default origin line, that is okay, too. Just don't make any entries for that echo. Darwin works with either Copernicus II or COUNTERPoint 2.0 or earlier. COUNTERPoint users may use either Tabby or Copernicus modules.
BankTime.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:B:BankTime.cpt 0 54K 7/28/92 BankTime - BankTime is an external application that currently only supports Second Sight BBS systems. After the beta testing period has expired for Second Sight, I will begin the implementation of Mansion and WWIV ports. Hermes comes with a time bank function, so a port to that system would be functionally useless.

This is a great way for TeleFinder sysops to send mail to all users on their system, because you can put an alias of a message or a file in everyone's mail folder. Version 1.1 lets the Sysop enter a list of exceptions, which are folders which should NOT receive the alias. These would include the netmail folder and other folders associated with TF/Link, as well as (if you want) your Guest folders.

MUBBS Mod Shells 4/92.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:M:MUBBS:MUBBS Mod Shells 4/92.cpt 0 27K 6/15/92 MUBBS Mod Shells 4/92 - Put the folder "Module STD Routines" into your "THINK C" folder. The Think C can find the files easy, and we don't have to go through what we have been going through with previous modules. If you are "re building" a older module, use these files to update your old module to the new stuff. Just copy and paste in the new "main" code that starts a module (all we changed is the part after the "programmers name" so that we now can say what our module is too). You SHOULD generate prototypes for the old module, and turn on "require prototypes". You may find a few bugs this way too!

ModemInit V1.1.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:M:ModemInit V1.1.cpt 1.1 0 38K 6/10/92 This is a cdev/INIT that will allow you to set a command line to be sent to the modem upon startup. Why would you want to do this? It's true that almost all telecommunications packages set the modem for you, however, what about using Hypercard as a phone dialer? On some modems the online wait time for a carrier is 30 seconds or more. During those 30 seconds the modem quietly waits online for a carrier before it hangs up. What I have done with this INIT is set the command line to 'ATS7=5'. That way when I use Hypercard to dial a number, the modem dials a number, waits 5 seconds, then hangs up.

For those of you new to DownLine, prepare to save some time because this is what it (this utility) is all about. For this release I've added most of the features people have been asking for and also some of my own. The major ones are that DownLine can now "go the other way", that is Stuff and Binhex. It can maintain a log file of its activity, including error messages. There are numerous more minor additions which are listed later in this document and in the on-line help.

zen-1.0.PS.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:W-Z:zen-1.0.PS.cpt 0 171K 3/22/92 Thanks to the Boston Computer Society for sharing this file. This is a great beginner's guide to the Internet. It's a large PostScript file in compressed format; it needs to be decompressed and downloaded to a PostScript printer. The document is about 100 pages long, but it's worth the paper and toner! This document is 'freeware'--the author retains the copyright and commercial distribution rights, but has allowed the document to be distributed for free. I'd like to announce the availability of the first edition of booklet that I hope will find a wide-spread audience. It's called ``Zen and the Art of the Internet'', and serves as an introductory text to using the Internet.

The most common need for WinterBird is with systems supporting Fido Points. (A user running Copernicus, MacWoof, or COUNTERPoint). When a TeleFinder user sends mail to a user running point software, the mail normally just sits in their mailbox. The point user actually needs to call the BBS in order to read the local mail. Choose that and Ghost will then create an alias of that entire drive or disc in a folder for you. You can then place the alias files in MUBBS DIRs for upload and use by the BBS. Great boon for those using System 7, BBS, and CD-ROM.

TF Pro 1.0 Patch TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Telefinder:TF Pro 1.0 Patch 0 2K 12/08/91 This is a resource file that contains a fix to the Host Mode problems that some people have encountered with TeleFinder Pro 1.0.The problem was that the Speaker ON and OFF command in Host Mode did not send a Return after the command string. Some modems will not send a RING repsonse while there is an incomplete command waiting to be sent. This patch adds a CR to the ATM0 and ATM1 strings that TeleFinder uses, and all will be well Users should just copy the STR# 135 resource from this file and paste it into TeleFinder Pro to replace the STR# 135 resource that exists there now.

TFCommenter1.2.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Telefinder:TFCommenter1.2.cpt 1.2 0 19K 9/13/91 TFCommenter lets you add TeleFinder file comments to files. The advantages of using TFCommenter over TeleFinder/User to do this are: 1. It's very small and loads quickly. 2. It gives you a running count of how many characters you've typed in, and will prevent you from typing in more than 255 (the maximum for TeleFinder comments). 3. It works with self-extracting archives created by Compact Pro, Compctr Classic/Deluxe, and Disk Doubler. New in this version is support for Finder 7's "drag and drop" feature - select some files in the Finder, drag them over TFCommenter's icon, and they'll all be opened. With this version you can also edit the text font and size (with ResEdit), and the box in which the text appears.

SSsitTocpt.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:S:SSsitTocpt.cpt 0 17K 9/06/91 This is a quick and dirty program I cooked up in a few hours on Thursday July 27 1990. It should help expedite the changeover from Compctr Archives to Compactor Archives on a Second Sight BBS. What you do is this, use the sit to cpt program in batch mode to convert all your Compctr archives to Compactor archives. I have been getting a savings of 10 to 30% in size! Then run this program on each of your file sections. It will create a new file section with the same name, but .new attached to the end. This file section will be exactly the same except they will be automatically updated for the new cpt format. Check your sections afterwards. The program will beep when no file can be found. -Kirk Crawford.

FileTrix.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:D-F:FileTrix.cpt 0 58K 6/27/91 FileTrix does the same as AreaTrix, BUT ON FILES. Some sysops will want to distribute certain files to other nodes, either because they are boss of a FidoNet area, or because they've got a certain number of points, and want to distribute things like nodediffs, fidonews digests, etc. to them. FileTrix automates this process, and allows the points (and nodes) to automatically update the list of files they want to receive periodically. Also included is Logistic, mail the log, and Whatsnew8. Logistic places any file in an echo, Mailthelog sends the sysop netmail of the log and Whats new creates a message of new files.

Telefinder Post-its .cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Telefinder:Telefinder Post-its .cpt 0 26K 2/28/91 This is a small set of modified post-it icons that I have put together for Telefinder BBS SYSOPS (or anyone else who can put them to use, of course). Essentially, Telefinder will display finder icons (albeit with a somewhat different view) to users of the host BBS. Occasionally, you may want to put out a special notice--say a new bad virus alert--and you'd like it to stand out from other generic Telefinder docs (the kind users can double click online and the text file is loaded into a window on their screen).
Telefinder Customizer!.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:Telefinder:Telefinder Customizer!.cpt 0 40K 2/28/91 Consider this: You run a Telefinder BBS and would like to personalize it to your exact needs. You would like to put pointers in the system to help new users (and even old pros) to find files, new messages, and perhaps to promote a sale or user group meeting. 1) Add the resources to your Telefinder prefs file. These files will appear with unique icons under Telefinder. If they are TEXT files or PNTG (MacPaint) they will be loaded into a window when your users double click them. 2) Use these Telefinder document applications to customize your online *and* your offline viewing. You might use a special events icon (like the one enclosed) to distribute your user group meetings schedule or other special events.

Extract.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:D-F:Extract.cpt 1 16K 1/20/91 This program allows you to convert a range of messages in your message base into a text file. This permits you to do things like read your private mail offline (since you can specify a to and from name if you'd like), read all private mail to check for illegal activities, or just read all the new public messages offline so you don't have to log in to see what's going on. You could also put a public message up as a text file with this program. It's simple, but useful (I think). If you have any comments, suggestions, or would like the messy and uncommented THINK Pascal sourcecode, leave me email here (P.L.COOPER). Brought to you by the Forest Hills BBS, 718-268-1240
DL Restriction.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:D-F:DL Restriction.cpt 0 4K 1/06/91 This is a Compactor file which contains a survey, a menu, and thorough documentation. Basically, this survey file makes use of the command 21 used in surveys which checks a user's download to upload ratio before continuing. I have adapted this command to form a bridge to your file sections. If the user's ratio is adequate for your standards, the user is admitted normally. If not, he or she is given a polite message explaining the situation and is forwarded to the menu I have included in this package. That menu allows the user to view files in your new upload section and to upload files (in order to boost his or her ratio). This replaces a bad upload I made on 12/26/90. Sorry about that...

EasyEmulation.cpt TeleDL AMUG CD:Files:Tele:D-F:EasyEmulation.cpt 4 11K 10/27/90 Undoubtably White Knight is the richest terminal program for the Mac hands down. But changing your setups from BBS to BBS can be a pain. Did you know for instance that White Knight can do ANSI emulation with a PC font just like one other program? To make things easy for others, I wrote this short procedure to easily switch between PC-ANSI, VT100, TTY, TTY/PC, and TTY/MAC. (Version 1.2 has a slightly modified font and adds font size 9 & 12pts, as well as the TTY/PC and TTY/MAC setups). EasyEmulation is FREE, easy to use, includes the source files, instructions, the FONT, and hints for making your own modifications. Enjoy!
